About The Teacher
Hello, My name is Kiaun Williams and I am your child's third grade teacher. It is indeed a privledge to be apart of your child's academic life this year. I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. I attended Marion Abramson High School for three years and receive my high school diploma from Mt. Hermon High School were I was saluatorian of my graduating class. I am a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge. I earned a degree in Mass Communications specializing in print journalism. I also hold a degree in elementary education from Southeastern University in Hammond. I have been a first grade teacher for four years. This is my first year teaching a third grade. I was voted "Teacher of the Year" for the 2008/2009 school year. I would appreciate your help and support as I transition your child from good to great. I govern my class by this motto, "To always be fair, firm and consistant." I have great expectations for my students. Class Rules: No talking when others are talking. Respect yourself, others, and school property. Raise your hand to speak. Keep hands, and feet to yourself. No bullying or teasing your peers. Come to school ready and prepared to learn.
