I am happily married to my wonderful husband. We have two great children and
two precious grandchildren. I have always enjoyed working with children and
wanted to be a teacher. I believe that EVERY CHILD is capable of learning in
his/her own way. I went back to college later in life and I graduated from
McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, in 1991. I have
been teaching for 18 1/2 years. This is my 17th year at Bayou Woods. I look
forward to working with my students - your children - this year.
My mission is to encourage children's individual expression of creativity.
By doing this, each child comes to enjoy independant, life-long learning,
both at school and at home.
