My name is Amanda Menner and I teach 2nd grade here at Bayou Woods
Elementary. This is my third year teaching 2nd grade at Bayou Woods.
I graduated from Southeastern in Hammond, LA in December 2005. I have two
daughters, Taylor and Avery. Taylor is in first grade here and Avery is
waiting to come here. I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade and watching
them grow into independent learners.
I strongly believe that ALL children can learn given the opportunity. We
are all unique and have different learning styles. A positive environment
will allow us to feel safe with each other and confident enough to share our
wonderful ideas.
