Dear Parents, Students, and Community Friends,
The beginning of the second nine week's grading period has begun. Report
cards have been sent home, and you should have an idea what needs to be done
in order to finish this semester sucessfully. Please contact me for any
support information that you may need regarding student progress. The second
grading period is extremely important as to your child continued successful
learning experience.
During Red Ribbon Week at Bayou woods, students participated in a
variety of activities to help them understand the damaging effects of
alcohol and drug abuse. Please continue to support and encourage your
children to do their very best. By working together, your child's love of
learning will continue to grow. We are continuing to learn & practice the
rules & routines of our school & classroom. Also, we will be addressing
stated skills in my lesson plans.We will continue to model Bayou Wood's Fish
Philosophy and "CHAMPS" School Expectations. Refer to the calendar for
upcoming events.

~Your child should bring a healthy snack every day.
~Review Bayou Wood's school expectations and fish philosophy with your
child DAILY.
~Send in Box Tops for Education to support our school.
~ALWAYS send money in a LABELED envelope or Ziploc bag!
