Dear Parents, Students, and Community Friends,
"Happy New Year to all!" A huge "Thanks" to all of you for making our
Christmas party a great success. This time of the year is a very serious
time for all of us. I appreciate your continue support for a "zero"
tolerance of inappropriate behavior. Learning and teaching time is of value
and important for all students to receive. The students are meeting tasks
nicely.
The beginning of the Third Grading Period is swiftly going by. Individual
conferences will soon be set up so that we can discuss your child's
progress. Kindergarten report cards will be issued this nine week's grading
period. Although there are many varied activities during the school year
that take place outside the classroom to promote social and personal growth,
it is extremely important that students be reminded often that their
academic progress is a very important purpose of their school attendance.
Our classwill recognize "100" Dau of school with the parish wide and
school celebration as well as kindergarten. Detail information will be
provided soon. Family time is especially important for you and your child
(ren) and should never be overlooked. Please continue to support and
encourage your children to do their very best. By working together, we
provide the best education he/she is entitled to. We will continue to model
Bayou Wood's Fish
Philosophy and "CHAMPS" School Expectations. Refer to the calendar for
upcoming events.
