How can I schedule a conference?

You may call the school office at 641-1901, send me an email (there is a
link at the top of the home page) or send me a note in your child's folder.
I will respond to you as soon as possible so that we can set up a
time that is convenient for us to meet.

Can I eat lunch at school with my child?

Our class goes to lunch at 11:50. You may come and eat lunch with
your child any day of the week. When you arrive at school you will need to
check in at the office to receive a pass, then you can meet us in the
cafeteria.

Can my child celebrate his or her birthday at school?

We love to celebrate birthdays! Please let me know in advance when you would
like to send in a birthday treat for your child. Cupcakes, a cookie cake,
or king cakes (during Mardi Gras) are easy to pass out. I would prefer if
you would not send a whole cake. If you wish to also send a drink please
send only juice boxes or Capri Suns. You can send the snack with your child
or drop it off in the office the morning of the celebration! If your child
is having a birthday party, I can only send home invitations if you invite
all of the boys, all of the girls, or the whole class to discourage any hurt
feelings. Have your child give me the invitations and I will put them in
their folders! If you would like to have a smaller party and want to invite
a friend from school, please contact them outside of school. I appreciate
your understanding on this matter.
