Almost all of the students have brought in their musical instrument for the 1st Take Home Project. If your child hasn't done so, please have him/her complete it as soon as possible, because it is a graded project.

Don't forget that the second Take Home Project for the year should be completed by Friday of this week (November 13). This project will help your family prepare for a fire in the home (which I hope never happens). This particular project is one which could save your lives! A description of the project, as well as graph paper, are included in your child's Take Home Folder this week.

Please consider sending in any slightly used materials you have for the 1st Grade Art Enrichment Project with Ms. Crystal: hair barrettes, water bottle tops (only - not the bottle), small toys (army men, happy meal toys, etc,) milk top lids and the plastic that holds it on, plastic rings, junk jewelry, old pencils or pens, old puzzle pieces, buttons, paper clips, pennies, and any other small items.

On December 12, Free Flu Shots will be available for students ages 9 and under. This will take place at Northshore Hospital. Scan the paper, as well as look for my updates, for more information!
