Math
	Suggested activities that can be done for homework.
	Write numbers to 50.
	Make up addition problems.
	Practice counting objects and putting them into groups of 5’s and 
10’s.
	Count by 5’s and 10’s.
	Make patterns using household objects.

	Study for test on Friday
	
Reading


	The story is introduced and highlighted on Tuesday.
	Read story nightly to practice fluency.
	Learn vocabulary words.
•	Have your child make sentences with the words.
•	Play memory with the words.
•	Review learned words and study the others.
•	Worksheets if sent home.
•	Library book.
•	Study for test on Friday
           
	
     Spelling
	Suggested spelling activities. Please pick three different activities 
a week and turn in for homework.
	Write sentences with your words.
	Write words 3 times each.
	Find words in the newspaper.
	Worksheets if sent home.
	Rainbow words
	Write words using red for vowels and blue for consonants.
	Write the word and illustrate.
	Pretest on Monday
	Practice test on Thursday
