Language:    In Language we will continue to review possessive nouns:  *A 
possessive noun shows who or what owns or has something.  *Add an apostrophe 
(‘) and –s to a singlular noun to make it possessive (dog’s).  *Add an 
apostrophe to most plural nouns to make them possessive (animals’).  *Add an 
apostrophe (‘) and –s to plural nouns that do not end in s (children’s);  
use all rules learned to date:  capital letters begin a sentence, capital 
letters in abbreviations, names of people, pets, street names & titles;  
capital letters in the days of the week and months of the year; names of 
schools;   commas, periods, question marks, exclamationpoints, is and are, 
was and were, am;  write words in ABC orderto the second letter;  answer 
questions in a complete sentence; action verbs; SYNONYMS:  words that mean 
almost the same thing but are spelled differently.   ANTONYMS:  words that 
are opposite in meaning; present-tense verbs; subject-verb agreement  

    ** Study for Spelling, Language, Math, and Reading Tests for Friday.
