Please check your child's homework folder nightly for any pages to be done
at home.
Once spelling begins, please complete the following
assignments nightly in order to help with spelling success.
Monday - write each word 3 times
Tuesday - write a sentence with words 1-5
Wednesday - write a sentence with words 6-10
Thursday - get pre-test signed and write any words missed 5 times. If no
test is sent home all words were spelled correctly.
Spelling words should be practiced nightly. Vocabulary words should be
reviewed as well. Each night please take some time to read the story
located in the take home folder. Please try to devote 10-15 minutes each
night to reading with your child.
