About The Teacher

My name is Brandy Harrington and I will be your child's teacher this year.  I 
graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2000 
with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I started teaching at Bayou 
Woods in 2006. I've been teaching since 2000 and in addition to 1st grade 
I've also taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and Hearing Impaired children.
  I am married and have two daughters. I currently live in 
Covington. I am looking forward to working with you and your child this 
year.  Together we can make sure learning is fun and learning is forever!
