Once again my class will be participating in Science Buddies with our feeder school, Carolyn Park Middle School. I am so excited about our plans for this year. We will be working with Mrs. Cochran's 4th graders this year as they walk over to BWE every 3rd Wednesday (WEATHER PERMITTING) to learn and participate in curriculum rich science activities. Mrs. Cochran and I have compared our science curriculums with one another and have come up with many learning experiences that will be explored in the 2009-2010 school year. We can't wait to get started and I always tell my kids to "Think SUNNY thoughts, so our Science Buddies can come over!" Sometimes the "Sunny Thoughts" work and unfortunately sometimes they don't. We always do try to reschedule in case of bad weather but sometimes it is just not possible, so that is why we also communicate with our buddies through letters.
