Hi! I am Terri Kreider and this is my 31st year of teaching. I have been
teaching in St Tammany Parish for 26 years and have been at Bayou Woods
Elementary since it opened. I live in Mandeville with my husband Wayne of 26
years and I have one son. Wade is a senior at the University of Notre Dame
(GO IRISH) where he is a trumpet player for Notre Dame's "Band of the
Fighting Irish." I also have a 9 year old Huskie-Beagle mix named Sebastian.
I stay busy on weekends cooking, reading, watching Notre Dame football(and
when I am really lucky I get to fly to Indiana to see Wade perform on the
field), and just chiiling out around my house.
I love being a mom and a teacher, the two things I have dreamed about
being since I was a little girl.I am looking forward to an exciting school
year when we will start growing and learning together.
My mission for my class is to create a safe, fun ,cooperative and caring
learning environment where students can become responsible and acquire a love
for learning.
