Group 1
Homework:
Homework is sent home in your child's white binder. There is a "Signed
Paper pocket in the front of the binder" as well as a "Homework Side and
completed work pocket in the back" of the binder. Please check daily for
homework in the pocket of the binder.
Make flashcards for this weeks story and and review words
from last week.
Each evening, please read the story of the week with your child and sign.
Monday: Read the Home School Connection booklet and sign indicating that
you have completed this with your child. Make flashcards of
the “phonics”story these words are in your
child’s white binder.)
Tuesday: Read phonics stories (three on a page), complete the suggested
reading activity, and sign indicating your child read these to you. Review
vocabulary from previous lessons words (in your child’s white binder.)
Wednesday: Read the "Get Ready" story (“Teamwork”) and the “Main
Selection” story (“Soccer") in your child’s White binder. Sign
indicating you have read these with your child. Rview previous weeks
words.
Thursday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“Teamwork”) and the “Main
Selection” story (“Soccer”) in your child’s White binder. Sign
indicating you have read these with your child.
