| Unit 7/ Spelling activities are due Thursday October 2nd.
**A spelling pretest is given each week on Friday. The words missed are the
spelling words to be studied for the upcoming test on Thursday of the
following week. The students are to write the words they missed in their
Spelling notebook and study those words. In addition to the regular unit
words some students may have bonus words to study. Students have a choice
of which activities to complete for the week's work. These activities are
posted in their spelling notebooks.

September 29 - October 02
Reading: Vocabulary and skill assessment Thursday Oct.2nd/At home
reading - book of choice - 20 minutes daily. *Parents please sign the at
home reading log to indicate that your child has read for the assigned 20
minutes per evening.*
The reading series, TREASURES, can be accessed on line. The information to
complete registration was sent home last week.
Math:
Spelling: Unit 7/Test Thursday Oct.2nd
Writing/Grammar:
Social Studies: Ancient Americans - Continued study/research Mayas, Aztecs,
Inca Civilizations.
Science: Physical Science Section E/Mass, weight, volume
**** Homework assignments are written on the board each day. Students are
to copy the assignments and be responsible for bringing the necessary
materials home to complete the assignments.****
