Homework

               
                                         October 6 - 9

Reading: The reading story this week is A Harbor Seal Pup Grows Up.  
The vocabulary words are: rescued, mammal, young, hunger, examines, normal. 
Students should be able to read and use the words in context.


Homework:  Monday - Write a sentence with each of the reading vocabulary
                    words.
           Tuesday - Read an RR book. Students should be prepared to test
                     on at least one book this week. 
           Wednesday - Vocabualry practice sheet.

Spellling:  The spelling words are:  slide, slips, dress, drop, skin, task, 
still, must, crisp, spell, cube, fume, below, own, city.
          
          

Homework:   Study spelling daily. The assessement is on Thursday.
                  


Language:   Plural Nouns will be introduced this week. 

Homework:  Wednesday- Write 5 sentences using any 5 of the spelling words.
                      Circle the nouns.
        

Math: Students will participate in activities involving graphing, money, 
time, and fact families.

     

Math Homework: Reinforecment Sheets on Monday, Tuesay, and Wednesday.
                
Science: Animal Habitats.
