-Homework: Letters of the week are the letters Ii and Tt
We will explore phonemic awareness, sounds of letters, Capital and lower
case Mm, Aa, Ss, Pp, Tt, as well as the letters Ii and Tt
We will review our sight words this week:
go, two, ten,I, the, am, at, can,like, me, my, mom, see, is, in& we: new
sight words
are:
Please keep practice writing first and last name. Capitalize only the first
letter of each.
Practice writing, number to number relation, and number
recognition with numbers 1-10.
Also, help your child recite address and
phone #. I will record if students know their address and phone # in the
coming weeks.
Word wall words: go,I, can,we,the,am, at, me, mom, my, like,play,a,is,
in,see,one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
• Read with an adult each night. Any “books” that come home need to be
read to and initialed by an adult at least 3 times.
• Help your child complete any work sent home at the end of the day in
the “homework” pocket in the purple folder.
• Ask your child questions about his/her day. Make sure he/she answers
with words and not body language. We are working hard on this at school.
Newsletters are placed in FISH folders on Fri. the week prior or Mon. the
week of depending on the copy machine. Homework, daily and weekly
happenings,letter and or letters of the week, numbers of the week, and site
words you should be reviewing with your child daily are located on the
newsletter; so please be sure to take the time and read it carefully.
Please make sure to check the homework portion of the folder daily.
