• READING – Stone Fox novel chapters 1-5. Each child will receive a
copy of the book to use this week and next. Quiz Wednesday on Chapters 1-3.
Quiz Friday on chapters 4-5. Vocabulary went home today.
• MATH – We are studying Patterns this week. No test. We will continue
doing timed multiplication practice (NOT FOR A GRADE) each day to hopefully
get the kids to improve their fact skills. 7’s this week.
• SCIENCE – We will continue studying the solar system this week. No
Test.
• SPELLING – They have a list of the words in their binders. Friday is
the post test. Tic-tac-toe activities due Friday.
• SOCIAL STUDIES – We will study regions this week. No test. Look for
notes in your child’s binder.
• LANGUAGE – We will be writing a story of their choice this week.
(imaginative narrative)
• A.R. – 50% of their points and reading at 85% or higher is the goal
this week. S’mores for those who met this by Friday!
• 2 weeks until Thanksgiving break.
• BOOK FAIR – This week. Send money or attend the Parent night
Wednesday or Thursday.
• VETERAN”S DAY – Program Wednesday at school. See flier that was sent
home last week inviting veterans to attend.
