• READING – We are reading Roadrunner’s Dance this week from our
Reading book. Comprehension and Vocabulary test is Thursday.
• MATH - We are studying Geometry this week.
• SCIENCE –We are studying Light this week. Test is next Tuesday. A
study guide will be sent home Friday.
• SPELLING – Students should study from pretest and list sent home
today. Posttest is Friday and will be done in cursive.
• SOCIAL STUDIES – We are starting an Economics study this week. An
in-class grade will be given on class work.
• LANGUAGE – We will be starting descriptive/expository writing this
week. Look for this in your child’s binder.
• BINDERS – We cleaned out our binders this morning – fresh start!
• CURSIVE WRITING – Any test the students turn in will be done in
cursive. If your child needs practice, they are able to take their cursive
practice folder home to practice.
• I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday. It’s crunch time from
now until the LEAP test. I know the students are ready to learn and be
attentive.
