Week of October 26th - 30th

Reading -This week's story is "My Diary from Here to There." The genre' is Historical Fiction, and the skills to be covered are comprehension, vocabulary, & Making Inferences. Test on Friday.

Language - The students will complete their Imaginary Narratives that we began last week. Minilesson this week is Onomatopoeia.

Spelling - Contracts this week, as well as test on Friday.

Math - Practice Math Facts through 5's. Complete unit on Algebra and balancing equations. Test on these skills on Wednesday.

Science - Complete with unit on Earth and all its structures: Earthquakes, volcanoes, etc. The test will be on Wednesday.

Social Studies - Louisiana Information, specifically discussion of field trip locations & facts.
