Homework for the week of December 14 - 18, 2009 Monday: Write a letter to Santa and put it in an envelope (don’t forget your return address!). We practiced writing these in class earlier this month. Turn in your sealed letter and envelope to send to Santa! Complete Math page. Tuesday: Review the phonics and story words for Book 3, Stories 1 – 3. Re- read the Book 3, stories 1 – 3 that are in your child’s folder. Complete Grammar page. Wednesday: Review the phonics and story words for Book 2, stories 1 – 5 (these were sent home with your child when we completed Book 2). Complete Grammar page. If you haven’t sent in your items for our Christmas party, please send them to school tomorrow! Thursday: Review the phonics and story words for Book 1, Stories 1 – 5 (these were sent home with your child when we completed Book 1). Re-read the Book 1, stories 1 – 5 that are in your child’s folder. Choose any 10 Spelling words from the 2nd quarter (units 7 – 13) that were highlighted on your Spelling lists. Write these words 3 times each in your Spelling notebook.
