I am D’Lara Carter. I reside in Slidell with with my husband Andre,
son Dominick (17), and daughter D'Andrea (10). I enjoy teaching, reading,
learning, spending time with my family, traveling to new places, and
bowling.
I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, certified in
Mild/Moderate Special Education grades K through 12th, and certified in
Regular Education grades 1st through 6th. In previous years, I have taught
in New Orleans Public Schools and Gwinnett County Public Schools in
Snellville, Georgia.
This is my seventh year teaching and I consider myself very fortunate
to be among such a professional faculty at Bonne Ecole Elementary. I am
so excited and I look forward to a fantastic school year.
