Hello Everyone,
Please check your child's folder daily for homework pages and important notes
from the school. Sign the agenda and return it each day. Your child's
behavior calendar is also in the front of the agenda. I mark the calendar
daily.
Our class Christmas Party is scheduled for Thursday, December 17, 2009.
The party will be held from 1:15-2:45. Please see the note requesting party
items and a wrapped gift for our gift exchange.
THIS WEEK IN ROOM #34
Spelling: We have 20 words each week. They can be found in your child's B.E.E
Folder. We take a pre-test every Monday and a post-test on Friday.

Reading: We will be working on a story about family and traditions during
the holidays. The story is called, "The Jones Family Express." Ask your child
to retell the story that we are studying. Retelling is very good practice
and it helps with comprehension too!
Language:
Writing: Topic this week share, "My Favorite Holiday and Why".
Math: Algerra, Equations continued with Graphs and Charts.
Social Studies: Christmas Around The World. Explore what this time of the
year is like in other countries. Learn Traditions and Cultures.
