My name is Raquel Davis and I am from Columbus, Georgia. I graduated
from the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am also certfied to teach mild/moderate special education. This is
my eighth year working for the St. Tammany Parish School System. I have
enjoyed every year that I've been here and I hope that this year will be
just as grand!
I am married to Rodney Davis and we have three children. Riana is 14
years old, she is in 9th grade at Slidell High. Rodney is 11 years
old, he is in 5th grade at Bonne E'cole. Raina is the youngest, she is 4
years old.
I enjoy working with children. I love to travel and learn new things.
My favorite colors are pink and green. I enjoy eating out and shopping! I
hope that this year will be exciting and productive.
My mission for this class is to create and maintain a child-centered
environment. I will recognize the needs and expectations of my students and
parents by keeping an open mind and being as flexible as I can. I will
strive to make our classroom a pleasant atmosphere in which to learn and
work. I hope that each student will feel good about coming to
school to learn new and exciting things.
