Skills and Activities for the Week:
The month of December will be full of fun and exciting activities!
We will be using Winter/Christmas stories to learn various skills during
Reading time. Some of these skills will include predicting, sequencing,
making connections, and recalling story details.
In small group, we are reading leveled books! The students are
using their prior knowledge of sight words and crosschecking picture clues
with first letters to decode unknown words.
In Math, we are analyzing graphs, measuring, estimating, counting,
making patterns, and telling addition stories.
