The school book fair is this week. We will have the opportunity to attend
daily so please send money with your child in a labeled envelope if you
would like him or her to be able to purchase something.
Family Turkey Projects are due on Friday.
Skills and Activities for the Week:
This week we will begin our unit on food. We are learning about where
food comes from and why we need food. We will also discuss why it is
important to learn about the types of food we eat. Our Shared Reading story
is titled Apple Farmer Annie. We will also continue to read and learn
about the first Thanksgiving.
Our Math focus this week will be on the terms more, less, least, and
most. We are learning to add more and take away with manipulatives. We are
also learning to recognize and analyze these terms while graphing.
