What is homework?
Homework is written work that should be easily accomplished by your child and
is assigned for extra practice, to prepare for new material that is going to
be introduced, or to elaborate on information that has already been
introduced in class. To master a concept or a topic, research shows that a
student must practice a skill on at least 24 separate occasions. Homework is
the practice needed to master what is being presented in the classroom.
Homework is written daily in student's agenda.
Students will have homework Monday - Thursday.
Students will be given the opportunity to work on their Spelling contracts
over the weekends.
