December14-18, 2009 Monday: Review Book 3, Story 3’s words from reading folder. We will take the big test on story 3 with its skills tomorrow. Complete math page. Tuesday: Review Book 3, Weeks 1 and 2 words in your child’s reading folder. Wednesday: Read a book with your child and have him/her retell the story to you. Don’t forget to send items requested for the Christmas party tomorrow. Thursday: Ask your child to tell you about Kwanzaa, Hanukah, Befana (Italy), Santa Lucia (Sweden), Poinsettias (Mexico), Gingerbread and Christmas tress (Germany), and Pere Noel (France). Be sure to read over the holidays!!!! Reminder – Visit the class website and go to the links. Your child can read the actual story from the e-book on line.
