My name is Cheryl Petty. I am starting my twelth year of teaching first
grade at Bonne Ecole. I have taught every grade from three year olds
to fourth grade, but this is my favorite! I am married to a wonderful man,
have three children and two adorable grandsons. My son graduated from LSU
and is working for Chevron. He is married to a Bonne Ecole
Kindergarten teacher so BEE has two Mrs. Petty's! One daughter is an HR
trainer for a company in Lacrosse,Wisconsin and lives in Caledonia,
Minnesota with the two precious grandsons. My other daughter has recently
decided to go back to college in speech and hearing and
is working at a doctor's office in Baton Rouge. She has joined the Baton
Rouge Roller Derby as a referee. I am so proud of all three of them.
