Homework

Please check your child's agenda and calendar each night.  Homework will be 
recorded in the agenda.  Parents please initial in the box on the behavior 
calendar every day!

Spelling- Study spelling words every night by making flash cards, taking 
practice quzzes, and completing the spelling worksheet.
(Please check agenda for spelling homework).

Reading-
Read the reading story nightly to practice comprehension and story 
elements.  Ask your child to tell you about the "learning station" they went 
to each day to reinforce the weekly skill.

Math- Please check math notebook each night and review skills from the day.  
Check GATOR folder for math worksheets.

Social Studies/Science- Your child will be assigned to re-read any pages for 
homework that was read and explained in class that day.  Please encourage 
your child to read these pages to you and explain the information on the 
page.

*Students must complete homework each night and turn in the following 
morning.  If your child can not complete the assigned homework, please send 
in an excuse note in your child's communication journal.  Your child will be 
expected to complete the homework and turn in the following school day.
