Please check your child's agenda and calendar each night. Homework will be
recorded in the agenda. Parents please initial in the box on the behavior
calendar every day!
Spelling- Choose an activity from the spelling activity sheet. By Friday,
all of your activities must add up to at least 50 points. Or the teacher may
assign spelling worksheet each night of the week.
Reading-
Read the reading story nightly to practice comprehension and story
elements. Ask your child to tell you about the "learning station" they went
to each day to reinforce the weekly skill.
Friday- Test
*Reading Log- Please encourage your child to read every night! Record your
reading minutes on the reading log in the G.A.T.O.R binder. I will collect
the reading logs at the end of each week.
Math- Please start working with your child to help him/her memorize the
multiplication tables. We will start with the 2, 3, and 4 multiplication
tables.
