Week of November 9-13
Monday: Read the Home School Connection booklet and sign indicating that you
have completed this with your child. Make flashcards of the “phonics”
and “story” words that go with Book3, Week 1’s story (these words are in your
child’s reading folder.)
Tuesday: Read phonics stories, complete the suggested reading activity, and
sign indicating your child read these to you. Review Book 3, Week 1 words
(in your child’s folder.) Complete Grammar page.
Wednesday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“A Good Game for All") and the “Main
Selection” story (“Kate's Game”) in your child’s reading folder. Sign
indicating you have read these with your child. Review Book3, Week 1 words.
There will be a test on story 1's main selection on Thursday. Write your
spelling words and make vowels one color and consonants another.
Thursday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“A Good Game for All”) and the “Main
