Ms. Dupuy has been teaching for eight years. I have taught four years in
first grade and four years in fifth grade. I received my Bachleor's Degree
from the University of New Orleans in 2000. I have one son, Eric, who is a
sophmore at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where he
is majoring in pre-med.
During my time at Bonne Ecole, I have had the privilege of being
named "Bonne Ecole's Teacher of the Year," and "State P.T.A. Educator of
Distinction." All of these honors have meant so much to me!
Also, I am one of two coaches (along with Mrs. Pichon-Milford) for the Lego's
Robotics Team (Robostars). Bonne Ecole is currently the only St. Tammany
Parish public elementary school that has a robotics team competing in the
First Lego League for the State of Louisiana. As of December 1, 2007, the
Robostars won the Rookie Team Award at the state competition. Also, Channel
4 will spotlight the team on "Making the Grade" sometime after February 19th.
This award is given by Omni Bank and the school receives $2,000.
My class goal is to create a positive, supportive environment that promotes
a love of learning to all students. Our mission is to always give 100% and
to work to the best of our abilities.
