Week of 11-9-09
AR- This week’s AR goal treat is Sunglasses Day as students can wear
sunglasses as they read. Students will be notified on Thursday if they have
met their weekly goal.
Interims- These will go home on November 12.
PTA- Meeting will be held November 11 at 7:00pm.
Book Fair- The Book Fair will be held this week outside the library until
Thursday. Parent Night is Wednesday, November 11. Students may bring in money
to shop at our allotted time.
Game Night- Cultural Arts Gallery & Family Game Night will take place on
Friday, November 13.
Spotlight on this week:
Reading: We will be reading a Beyond the Horizon. The at home CD can be used
for activities for this story.
Grammar: Helping Verbs.
Writing: Imaginative Narrative
Spelling: Unit 14 words
Math: Shapes and Angles--Polygons
Science: Unit B Chapter 2 on living things and ecosystem (Lesson 2-
producers, consumers, and decomposers.)
