As you know, my name is Kacie Kerlec. I graduated in 2003 with a
Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and in 2004 with a Master of
Education degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University.
This is my sixth year teaching at Bonne Ecole. After teaching second grade
for my first four years of teaching, I joined the fifth grade team for the
08-09 school year. This is my second year teaching fifth grade at Bonne
Ecole. Like my students, I am continually learning. I have been trained in
Responsive Classroom, Every Day Counts Math, Thinking Maps, Go Charts, Write
From the Beginning, Promethean and other educational techniques that allow me
to meet the needs of each and every one of my students. I look forward to
learning from my students as they learn from me.
To provide all students with a quality education through active engagement
in a safe, caring, and positive learning environment. It is my goal that my
students become a contributing member to the caring classroom community
created and feel valuable while doing so. This year, I want EVERY one of my
students to love fifth grade EVERY day of the year!
