Monday: Read the Home School Connection booklet and sign indicating that you
have completed this with your child. Make flashcards of the “phonics”
and “story” words that go with Book 3, Story 4’s story (these words are in
your child’s folder.) Complete Math page.
Tuesday: Read phonics stories, complete the suggested reading activity, and
sign indicating your child read these to you. Review Book 3, Story 4 words
(in your child’s folder.) Complete Grammar page.
Wednesday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“A Funny Dog For Ike”) and the “Main
Selection” story (“Smile, Mike!”) in your child’s folder. Sign indicating
you have read these with your child. Review Book 3, Story 4 words. Choose a
Spelling activity (look for the new 3rd quarter activities stapled in the
front of your child’s Spelling notebook!!!) and sign in Spelling notebook
indicating the activity your child completed.
Thursday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“A Funny Dog For Ike”) and the “Main
Selection” story (“Smile, Mike!”) in your child’s folder. Sign indicating
you have read these with your child. Complete reading story comprehension
questions. Study for Spelling test tomorrow!
