About The Teacher
Welcome to all in the Spark Classes!! This is my 29th year teaching, with 15 of those years here at Bonne Ecole teaching gifted education. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University, my Master's Degree from National-Lewis College in Evanston, Illinois; and my Gifted Certification and Masters Plus 30 hours from Southeastern in Hammond. I have lived in Slidell since 1985 with my husband Art, and my 14 year old daughter Kristen, who is is in the EIGHTH grade! I absolutely LOVE math and hope to bring that enthusiasm to each child in all my classes.

Mission
My greatest dream is for all the children this year to walk out saying "I CAN do math." I wish for every child to learn something new each and every day and to become a thinker that will someday change the world in their own way. It is important to me that children leave my classes with the basics and to know not only HOW to do the math, but WHY they do it!
