Here's the Scoop

Your darlings are catching on quickly to all the "NEW" stuff they have been learning. They have
even created their own classroom rules that THEY want everyone to follow so we can all be
positive, safe, responsible and respectful...

Rule #1 BE NICE TO OTHERS.
Treat others nicely, be helpful, play fairly and share/take turns.

Rule # 2 BE SAFE AND CAREFUL.
Move in a safe and careful way inside and outside the classroom with hands, body and feet.

Rule # 3 BE A GOOD LISTENER.
Eyes and ears on the speaker and raise your hand if you want a turn to talk.

Rule # 4 TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Be a good "BOSS" of yourself, be in control of your actions, take care of your school things,
use your manners, be a good learner and do your best.

They did a very good job making up the rules. They are good at following "their" rules, too.
This helps our classroom be a place where everyone can learn. Your babies are AWESOME!!

First Day of T-1!

Parents, you should be VERY proud of your little ones! They had an AWESOME 1st day of
school!!! I really enjoyed their personalities, inquisitiveness and excitement. First days of
school are hard - new teacher, new classmates, new classroom, new procedures and routines, new
schedules, and even, for some children, a new school! Additionally, 1st days include lots
of "new rules and expectations!!" But they kept up and tried their best to adjust. Each child
is precious and very much loved (by me, too)! Thanks for sending your child to school with a
hug and a kiss. It really helped their first day go well. Kudos to our WONDERFUL parents!!!
