This is my fifth year as the counselor at Bonne E'cole Elementary. I 
absolutely LOVE my job.  

A lot of people do not know what the school counselor's role is in the 
school or what the educational background of a counselor is so I hope that I 
can give you a better understanding of my position. In addition to providing 
mental health counseling to the students on an as needed basis, I provide 
guidance lessons to every classroom every four weeks on social skills and 
other important issues, facilitate group counseling sessions, serve as the 
Gifted Testing Coordinator, serve as Homeless Liaison, serve as 504 
Coordinator, serve as Dibels test administer, serve as Positive Behavior 
Support moderator, prepare for i-Leap, do breakfast duty two days a week, 
and wear many other hats.
