Dear SPARK Parents,

The Reading Gallery is this Tuesday, December 18th from 6-7. The students were given guidelines from their homeroom classes. Please encourage your child to enter. These projects celebrate reading and allow other students to get glimpses into books they might consider reading later on. There will be hot chocolate and pictures with Santa.

This week marks the end of the second nine weeks. There will be a half day for students on Friday. I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Below are some items we can always use in class:

• paper towels (big need)
• notebook paper (big need)
• chart paper (big chart paper and small)****** This is a big need!
• highlighters
• notecards
• tape
• sticky notes
• white paint
• any other art supplies you might want to donate
• drama props
• Cool pens for students to write with in the writing center
• Let me know if any of you would like to buy books for the class. I will come up with a list of books for you. I always love Patricia Polacco, Eve Bunting, and Cynthia Rylant books.
