I was born in a small town in Upstate New York called Scottsville, right
outside of Rochester. I learned to love reading and books in that lovely
little village due to wonderful teachers and a fabulous public library. My
family moved to Lynchburg Virginia when I was thirteen. I graduated from
high school while in Virginia and attended James Madison Univerisity.
However, my family moved to Slidell and I finished my degree in Library
Science at the University of Southern Mississippi. I later recieved my
Masters in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University.
I've been married to my Prince Charming for 26 years! We have a cat named
Manly who thinks he rules the house!!! I love to read, hike in the
mountains, embroider and of course travel! Yes, I love Disney and have been
to both Disneyland and Disney World many times (my favorite Princess is Snow
White!)
I hope that all my students enjoy visiting the library. Remember to Go Wild
for Books!!!
The mission of the Boyet Jr. High School Library is to support the academic
program of our school. The library also encourages and promotes the love of
reading in our students.
