Mr. Rickie Luke, Talented Theater Teacher in the St. Tammany Parish
School System and a former Drama and Music Teacher at St. Martin’s Episcopal
School in Metairie, is also the owner of Luke’s Brisket and Broadway Dinner
Theatre in Slidell (formerly Minacapelli’s). He started his early stage
career with Children’s Theatre Workshop in Metairie. After graduating
from University of New Orleans in Speech Education and Graduate work in
Theatre and Educational Administration, he performed on local stages
including New Orleans’ Southern Repertory Theatre, Slidell Little Theatre,
Skyfire and Minacapelli’s. He looks forward to training the next 'Barrymore'!
Our mission for this year is to increase our theatrical knowledge and
experience through drama games and exercises, and stage work.
