Advisory Council
The purpose of the Advisory Council is to provide the foundation for
continued program improvement and student post-secondary and employment
preparation. The council provides expertise and insight to guide the
teachers as they strive to prepare young people for work, continued
learning, and productive satisfying lives. Every career and technical
education class has an advisory council comprised of individuals in that
particular field.

Automotive Youth Education Systems (AYES)
AYES is a unique partnership built between automotive manufacturers, parts
dealers and select high schools. To qualify to have the AYES partnership,
the participating schools must have Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) -
certified automotive programs and have an active chapter of SkillsUSA. At
CC&TC, the dynamic group of professionals invests money, time, talent,
equipment, training, and internships for our Automotive Technology
program as well as support for the entire school. The fact that CC&TC's
Automotive Technology program was the first in the nation to receive a
perfect AYES score is due in large part to the Business and Education (B&E)
Council's work and commitment which remains ongoing.
