About Our School

Caddo Career & Technology Center, the technical and career education extension of Caddo Parish high schools, serves as a remote campus of area high schools to provide hands-on experience in three-hour blocks of instruction.

After high school, many students choose to continue their education in four-year colleges and universities, two-year technical and community colleges, apprenticeships, or enter the workforce as full-time employees. Through the involvement of key corporate and school leaders working with teachers and administrators, Caddo Career & Technology Center is working to deliver a world-class workforce.

As Principal of the Caddo Career & Technology Center, I extend a sincere "welcome" and encourage you to explore all available sections for information related to the awesome opportunities afforded to Caddo Parish students who elect to enroll in one or more of the twenty-three, and growing, CC&TC career and technical education courses. I also encourage you to visit the sites of the CC&TC career and technical education teachers for detailed information relevant to specific courses as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular student organizations.

The Caddo Career & Technology Center, a Technology Centers That Work site, provides instructional Rigor, labor market Relevance in all coursework, and professional mentoring Relationships between teachers and students.

Caddo Career & Technology Center Receives Award

Caddo Career & Technology Center is the recipient of an Outstanding Technology Centers That Work Center Award at the 2011 Summer High Schools That Work Staff Development Conference. The conference was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. The award is presented to technology centers for "implementing the Technology Centers That Work school improvement design and demonstrating outstanding commitment to improving student achievement, graduation rates, and student college and career readiness."
 

CC&TC Hosts Louisiana SkillsUSA State Competition

CC&TC hosted over 250 students from across Louisiana to compete in the annual Louisiana SkillsUSA State Competition.
