Do you accept late work?

As a rule, no. However, if there are extenuating circumstances that permit a
valid excuse, arrangements can be made. Remember, students are responsible
for scheduling make-up tests and for asking for missed handouts, work, etc.
Assignments are left on the board all week, recorded here, and also written
in a notebook at the door. This makes it easy for students to catch up.
Generally, the rule is two days to complete make-up work. Check the agenda
for more specific information.

May my child bring a back pack to class?

No. There literally is not enough space. They end up in the aisle, and
either I or one of the students runs the risk of tripping. Consequently,
back packs are to be left in the locker. This will be good practice for high
school.
