Thanks to all of you who supported the CMM book fair at Barnes & Noble yesterday. The weather was
quite dreary, but there was no better place to be than a warm, dry BOOKSTORE, hanging out with
friends, reading aloud picture books and original writings, having snacks and drinks in the cafe', and
supporting our school's English Department!
I haven't received our total sales figure yet; however, we did make a little over $230 on gift wrapping
tips!
I was very pleased with the turnout, and I appreciate the dedication of all the students, parents, and
grandparents who braved the weather to support our cause.
With one week left before our holiday break, I'd like to wish all of you a joyous season filled with love,
laughter and quality time spent with friends and family. The memories created will last a lifetime, and
when you reach my age, those memories are golden.
I am so thankful to teach your children, spending time with them every school day, plus some!
Have a blessed Christmas, rest up, regroup, and return with enough enthusiasm to enter 2010 in a
positive, motivated state of mind! It's "gonna' be a GREAT year!
Love to all,
Pam Eakin :-)
