Students have received the new Home Reading Log in autumn orange (You can't miss it!) and they are
to continue reading at home and keeping up with their home reading logs, including your
signature as verification of their reading.
During the 2nd 9 weeks, I will check the reading logs every Tuesday. Please encourage your child to
read nightly by making certain he/she has something to read every day.
Students have received a list of apostrophe rules. They have been practicing using the rules and will
have a quiz on Friday, November 13.
Students took the Unit 5 Spelling Test Tuesday, and they will take The Westing Game Vocabulary 2 test
on Thursday, November 12. New word lists will be distributed next Monday.
