About The Teacher

Welcome to 8th GRADE~!!!
   I am excited to be teaching your child this year in Louisiana history.  
My goals for the year are to help prepare your son/daughter to enter high 
school next year, to help prepare them to excel on the LEAP test, and to 
enrich their knowledge and appreciation of our wonderful state and its 
history!
     
     This will be my 22nd year to teach.  I have always taught at the middle 
school level, and love it!  I have a Bachelor's degree from LSUS and a 
Master's degree from Centenary College.  I am working on completing my +30. 
    
      My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 27 years and we have 
two boys, Chad & Chase.
