NOW BE WEDNESDAY, MAY 16TH!
Our current book is The Wave by Todd Strasser. The test date is scheduled for
Tuesday, May 29th. However, if you know your family has plans for early
vacation, The Wave test and Vocabulary Unit 15 quiz will be offered the week
prior for early completion.
Reminders: A zero indicates work missed due to absence which needs to be
made up or work which was not turned in. In English, notebook checks are
completion points for classwork/homework assignments over a two-week period.
Information on the Flesch-Kincaid Readability Statistics has been posted on
the "Handouts" page of this website.
Assignments will be posted weekly for both classes, usually by Monday afternoon.
The reading list for the 2011-2012 school year has been given to Barnes and
Noble. Book bundles were distributed Tuesday, October 11th.
The state is providing a FREE resource for K-12 students, adults preparing for
the GED, as well as college students. Homeworkla.org is powered by Tutor.com
and was kicked off by the state library system in August as part of the
Louisiana Libraries: Connecting People to Their Potential project which is
funded by an $8.8 million Broadband USA grant from the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act.
The network is composed of over 1,800 certified professionals and/or
graduate students who are experts in their field.
