Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
Do I have homework every night?
Unofficially, yes. Even if I have not assigned specific reading on a particular night, I still expect you to review your vocabulary words and the reading we discussed in class that day. This may mean that you are going back over your notes or reading guide and filling in any questions that we went over in class that you did not write down in class. Frequently, you will have specific pages of reading assigned on particular nights, and you are expected to have completed the reading whether or not we have a reading quiz the following day.Back to Top

YES!!! Many examples of literary terms, themes, and other terminology and ideas that you need to know for tests, quizzes, and essays come out in class discussion. Many students do not feel it is necessary to take notes during discussion, but it is vital to success in the class. Anything said during any point in class is game for a test or a quiz.Back to Top
