The Future

My mission is to help students realize that their opinions count.  In an 
effort to help students draw their own conclusions and feel confident in 
what they believe, I will try to help create more capable individuals in 
their reading and comprehension of the written and non-written word.  If a 
student cannot comprehend what is written or spoken, then they must rely on 
a wealth of second hand information to make decisions that will affect their 
lives.   It is my hope that when a student leaves my classroom, he/she will 
have the ability to make their own judgments about things and trust 
themselves to make well informed decisions.
