Week of October26, 2009
This week students will be working on Math 4 Today week 9, a daily math
sheet that has four problem solving problems they work daily. We will also
start Unit 2,Multiplication in the garaunteed curriculum. The students will
take Math4Today week 12 test on Thursday. Math homework is Math4Today, Daily
Math Practice, and Daily Word Problem. Mountain Math is done daily in class
and due on Friday.
Science- We will start Energy and Force this week. Homework will be Daily
Science.
Social Studies- Daily Geography week 10 is homework Monday night. We will
check on Tuesday and the test is on Thursday. We will finish Chapter 3. Next
week the students will have a group project in lieu of a test. They will
recieve a grade.
We will also begin work stations. Each subject area will be covered. This
gives the students the freedom of picking their own work. The students will
also recieve a grade in Math, Science, and Social Studies based on their Work
Station work.
